In Search of Pho
I went strolling through a day market in Saigon with the boy and a couple friends, in search of “the best pho in town.” Of course, we proceeded to run around in circles, completely lost in a day food market. Fortunately, it was a nice pocket of homey Vietnamese culture. It was the first time I really felt like I was in Saigon, rather than in any other gigantic city. The distractions of the colorful fruit and bustling shoppers helped curb my craving for this infamous pho. Finally, after about an hour of wandering around, we found it.
